Harry is home.....

Post by Carol Arnett »

and is happy to be here. Me, too. He is doing OK except for some congestion, the usual problems with the gases they use for abdomonal surgery and some reflux. That should all go away in a few days.

Dee, how is Jack doing? Love, Carol

Hi Carol!
Glad to hear Harry is home!
Jack had the same probelem with the gasses that they used during his surgery and from the pain meds, but when I got him home I gave him a shot glass of milk of magnesia and an 8 oz. cup of warm water and within an hour he was back to a normal bowel function.
Jack got his catheter and JP drain removed yesterday. He is happy about that! The pathology reports weren't back yet, so we are anxiously waiting for those. Hoping to hear something next week. I have to keep reminding him that he CANNOT lift anything for 4 weeks.. I know that's a hard thing to not do, but we don't need any complications to add on to other issues he is dealing with.
Thanks for your concern!

Love
Dee~~~~
