Tex - The Weather Here
Well, if feels like what I;ve always thought of as deep south weather today. According to weather.com, its 102 in the town I work in and 109 (up a degree from 45 minutes ago) in my hometown. With humidity it "feels like 114".
I was contemplating going home because I worked a long day yesterday, am tired and have a headache. But not at those temperatures. The AC at work is at least keeping things to about 80 degrees. We're in a severe thunderstorm watch for the afternoon/evening. The cells of those are starting to crop up around the state.

Wow!
It is a comfortable 83 here right now and sunny We don't do the humidity thing here in CA - thank God! I went to Florida once and never dried out the whole time I was there - drippy and miserable!!
We could probably use moist air/rain however because of fire danger. Mike and the kids are *supposed* to go up to Lake Tahoe July 6-8 to camp while I am in Vegas ( ) - but the nearby area has been evacuated - so depending what happens - they may be camping in the backyard instead!
I cannot even imagine 109 and humid!! We had a very dry 115 here last summer - broke tons of records and was downright miserable! I personally enjoy it between 80-90...
Here's a cold for you!

Holy cow! That's not the deep South weather I'm acquainted with. That's downright miserable. I feel like a cheater, to have to say that it's only 84 degrees here, this afternoon, with a heat index of 88, (of course we're still having occasional showers).
With conditions like that, you could have some severe storms. When/if it gets that way down here, this time of year, we have to be on the lookout for tornadoes.
Those are pretty unpleasant temps in PA, also. I guess we're pretty lucky down here, except for all the flooding that never seems to stop.
I hope your weather gets back to a more normal level, before the NE has an epidemic of heatstrokes.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

At least tornados is something we don't have to worry about usually! The mountains break them up. But there are a few passes that will allow one to develop every few years...okay, decades.
Its hot to the point of everyone feeling sick. My stomach has been off for two days. Geoff wanted to go out to eat just so he could sit in AC. Kayla got sick to her stomach when we got home and I just had to kick her out of the "hot" tub because its starting to rumble off in the distance. She is miserable.
Here's hoping the heat breaks tomorrow like its supposed to.

Yep, that kinda heat can make anyone sick. The drastic change is pretty hard on everyone's system. I have problems every year, on the first really hot day or so, until I get used to it, again. Once you get used to it, it's business as usual.
Be sure everyone is getting enough salt. A deficiency of sodium can make you sick in hot weather.
