I'm glad I already paid for everything up-front, since it is hard to justfiy with medical bills and such rolling in. Oh well, there will always be bills, won't there? - I need to have more of a "live in the moment" mindset!
My goal for this week is to get comfortable sleeping in my bed...I've been out in the recliner, since it seems to be more comfortable. I'll need to get some extra pillows and rig up some system so I am comfortable laying flat...
I think this is just what I need to get my mind out of "recovering patient" mode and back into "living life" mode. I am going with 6 girlfriends I have known for probably an average of 28 years (since I was 12!). And I might gamble just a *little* bit...I've lost the health care lottery this year - perhaps I am due to get lucky

Sounds like you are doing good. Hope you get the sleeping figured out. Who knows--maybe there'll be a recliner in your room.
