A BIG prayer needed~~

Post by barbaranoela »

if U recall--2 years back Kristyn's best friend--Juliette developed bone cance in her leg---

I didnt know *then* that it was termed stage four---they removed the bone and replaced it with that of a cadaver--and all appeared fine--
Juliette went thru all the issues of losing hair--etc--but she bounced back-

She is scanned every 3 months and it was discovered that a cell has invaded her lung and all mixtures of chemo has been used so now,due to the severity, they are going in to remove the lung---
I dont know if it be the entire lung or a lobe-
She is going in for a PET but Juliette's mom is prepared for the worse-

Kristyn is very upset--yet *positive* due to what Kait has gone thru and as Kris worded it to Lynn---*Kait survived 70 operations--infections --on and on and she didnt die!!!

And in June--there they were all gussied up---ready for the junior ball--

So keep Juliette in your prayers----she is such a sweet young lady--

Luve Barbara--
the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control

I am truly sorry to hear about the lung cancer, Barbara. Hoping she will be one of the lucky ones. Having a lung removed is no picnic as I'm sure you know and it takes a long time to recover but it is possible. I have known 2 people so far who have had it done and they were much, much older and they got over it. It just takes time. Hopefully, they won't find any more cancer cells.......ever.

Barbara-

Will keep Juliette in my prayers! Cancer is such an UGLY disease! It will affect 1 in 3 people in their lifetime. There needs to be more research to better understand how it grows, and to offer more effective treatment options...It sounds like she has stage 4 metastatic disease - such a shame for someone so young!

So very sad

Morning Barbara,

My prayers are with her and her family. So young and so very sad.

Love, Maggie

Hello Barbara,
I will add your Juliette to my prayer list.

Could you all add my friend Laureena also? I have found out this weekend that her cancer is terminal uunless by some miracle they find a new treatment. She has two grown sons and just lost her husband about Oct. 2006 from brain cancer so it has been a horrific time for all of them.
Thank you,
Poopsie

Barb and Poopsie,

They will both be in my prayers too!!! Very depressing!!! I just don't understand how things like this happen in young people and families.

Love, Kathyp
