MC is back

Post by Tessa »

I am afraid I am having a flare of my Microscopic Colitis

I have been feeling unwell for a while but without any further symptom.

Today I have been most part of the day in bed after having visited the :flush: twice in less than 15 minutes and feeling exhausted.

After that I have been sleeping for about 3 hours, but I am still feeling extremely tired.

I apologize for not writing more, but I think I will have to go back to bed...

Just wanted to wish you a nice 4th.
Love,
Tessa

I am sorry to hear you are feeling so bad. It certainly is an exhausting disease!

I don't think it ever really goes away... but can be controlled in varying degrees...

Hope you feel better soon!

I hope if it's a flare that it's short lived. If it's something else - hoping it will soon be GONE.

So sorry you are feeling bad again.

Hi Tessa,

I'm sorry to hear you are not feeling well. As JJ mentioned, maybe it's a virus or something similar. A lot of people here in Texas have been sick lately, with some kind of stomach virus, and I believe that Momster mentioned that she was sick last week, so there's some kind of bug going around in Canada. Maybe there's something going around the world.

It may be MC, and regardless of what it is, MC usually makes it worse. I hope you feel better soon.

Love,
Tex

My dear friends grannyh, JJ, Shirley, Tex, Liz & Oma

Thank you for caring about me. I hope it is just a short flare... I am feeling better, but still very tired and extremely tired when trying to do something at home.

I am afraid I will have to face another day of rest.
Will keep you updated,
Love

Hi Tessa,

I sure hope you begin to feel better real soon! Hoping it is just a flu bug of some sort and you are on the mend quickly.

Rest and take it easy until you feel better.

Love,
Mars

Thank you too, Peggy & Mars :bigbighug:

I wanted to share this with you.
I am much better today. Not exhausted any more and not so tired.
Have not been back to the toilet since 2 days ago... :cleantoilet: when I had the Colitis flare...

I hope it was just something I ate or drank containing gluten or casein, who knows?

Thank you for caring about me. You are always there when needed, my dear friends, and always deep in my heart.
:pulsinghearts:

Take care you too,
Love,
Tessa

yeah that was my thought Tessa was that you might have ate something that might have messed with you. Do you keep a food journal or diary? Did you eat anything you usualy dont eat or is suspect?
Dr Fine test shows positive for gluten and casien but negative for soy, eggs, and yeast
Maybe its UC maybe its MC? Who knows at this point, but at least I know my intollerances now... so heres to the road to healing!
