Can I suggest adding acidophilus to your diet to add good bacteria to you colon? Danon Activia Yogurt now has a promise that in like 14 days they get your colon back on track or your money back! You can also just take it via pills. If that doesn't work, I have used Gas-X with great success a few years ago when I went through a terrible spell of nasty flatulence myself. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why it was happening every time I MOVED! Gas-X now comes in those flat melt in your mouth strips so you can carry them discreetly.
A quick story that all of you can appreciate...about 17 years ago when I just had IBS, I was on an escalator in JC Penny when all of the sudden I had a wet fart which didn't stop and I was in a dress of all things! It was the dead of summer here and I knew I was in big trouble as it started near the bottom of the elevator and I was going up. I wiggled my way to the restroom where I found a terrible mess, but thankfully not on my dress. I had to throw away my undies as I cleaned up but had no money so I asked someone to page my sister downstairs but she never heard the page! (I'm not one not to wear undies) I had to get back on the elevator without undies, find my sister, go back up the elevator and buy new undies right back where I was! She was in hysterics the entire time but me, I was sure everyone in JC Penny knew exactly what had happened to me and couldn't wait to leave!

I forgot telling something related with the question...

Some years ago, my mother and me went to the GP for a normal check up.
The doctor checked my pulse, etc. and listened to the heart and lungs...

Then he looked up somehow worried and asked me if I could breath easily... Well, I did not...

He asked for an emergency X-ray and when we came back to him an hour later, the X-ray showed something rare.

You know what? He sent me to the Hospital by ambulance.

We all scared to death. An ambulance?
He thought I had a serious disease in my lungs...

At the Hospital, the specialist assisted me quickly and I went through all the process again...

The diagnosis: Gases! :mallet:
 :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Ok. It is fun now, but It was scary on the way to the Hospital. At least my parents were very worried...

It seems that I had them "everywhere" and that sometimes they got up to the area of the lungs... One of the doctors said that If I felt in the water, I would emerge...

I still have gases from time to time, but I do not use the ambulance any more when I suffer them...
:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
