Sinus Infection

I am digging out the tea tree oil and others and going to make a team bath in a bowel for my head. Towel over head and in hale. Hopping to get my sinuses to drain....which is an iffy thing. Sometimes once the start to run....it is like the running of the bulls, just can't stop em til they are ready. My head hurts so bad right bow and my face feels like when I was 9 scraping with my brother in the back yard over the last cookie. Love Oma

Sinus infections are definitely no fun!! I've had them where my upper teeth have even hurt!!!
Hope whatever you put together to inhale opened them up.
I have used eucalyptus oil in steaming water with success..

When I was a kid I used to get tons of sinus infections. My neighbors would run away and hide when they saw I was going to sneeze because it would look like two faucets running out of my nose!

I am glad that I dont get them anymore because I think the antibiotics would kill me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also live in the desert (flagstaff az) which is about 2 hours north of Phoenix at 7000 feet above sea level. So I guess it is not really a desert where I specifically live but it is darn close! And once you drive 20 miles in each direction out of town you reeally are in a desert then!!!!!! It made the lovely trips from Phoenix to Flagstaff very fun b/c there are only bathrooms every 20-30 miles because there are only 2 towns (and I mean towns) between the two cities (if you can call Flagstaff a city).

My son Lives in Suprise and When I visit him my sinuses do not bother me. It's funny I never had them as a kid. Doctor told me I get them alot because of the deviated septum, a present from my brother. Love Oma

Hope the sinus infection is clearing, that is agony, dont let it get too bad it can be dangerious, i used to suffer with them a lot but like you say the best thing is steam to release them, good luck hope they clear soon. love Bobbie

I use Simply Saline. It doesn't have preservatives and you can use it as often as you like. Also I use Mucinex. Works great! Keeps the mucus thin so it doesn't become an infection! Take it every 12 hours. I don't have any side effects either. Hope you get to feeling better!

The herbal steam seemed to help and hopefully things wil clear up. I ususally keep Mucinex in the house but ran out. Shopping for groceries tomorrow and will get some more. I hsd been using saline and still use it quite often but for some reason it didn;t help much. I work in an office all day so I use it a few times during the day while I am at work. People think I am weird sometimes cause I also carry hand sanitizer and mouth wash to work. Love Oma
