back from the dead!!
How are you all????? It has been soooo long. I have had some very serious family issues & to make a long story longer, my 11y old grandaughter has been living with me since Feb 06. This 60Y old grandmother is definitely not as spry as she used to be & it has been very hard. I am so tired all the time. She is a joy & a very sweet young woman but still not how I would have chosen my life to be. It has been a treat to read the posts & catch up on everyone. I continue to be well & follow the diet most of the time. I have however been eating up a storm & have put on lots of weight (10#) & feel so fat & old. I am definitely a stress eater. I have also not been working out (who has time)?? I know you do Polly. I miss you all & will try to be in touch more often. Love & light, Rita

Hi Rita,
Sorry to hear of the problems, but it's good to see you posting again. I wondered what in the world had happened to disrupt your life. I hope things continue to improve.
Love,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hi Rita I am glad to see you back on the forum
Sorry about the family "problems", but happy to see that you are fine.
Good that she has someone who cares about her and loves her so much to offer all her time and energy to be there by her side.
Take care, my friend

Hi Rita,
I'm glad you were able to get back on and let us know how you are doing and as Hazel said, I'm really impressed that you can keep up with an 11 year old although I know it has to be tough on you. You are to be commended for sticking with the diet through all the stress.
Wishing the best for you and your family.
Love, Shirley

So nice to SEE you all again. Lots of catchingup to do. Thank you all for your loving thoughts. I have been doing ok with the diet but have also gained weight because I'm a "stress eater' & NOT EXERCISING. Between working & running my little angel around & doing science projects & helping out @ school, life is busy. Love & light, Rita
