Our Congress May Be "Inviting" Food Safety Risks

Post by tex »

It's no wonder we have all sorts of imported food safety problems, with our legislators handing out "free trade agreements" right and left, which exempt the exporters from being responsible for the safety of their products. I thought our government was supposed to look out for our interests, not the interests of overseas exporters. Apparently our elected officials must catch some kind of virus or something, which causes them to become confused, and misguided, after they are elected to public office.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

It's probably only going to get worse as more and more of our cropland is changed over to corn because it's more profitable (for the time being at least).

The FDA rules for food were written about 100 years ago when just about all the food was grown here!

I am rather fed up with the whole government..LOL
