Ratz!

Post by JJ »

Uffda! I had my appointment with the urologist today....he said I probably either have scar tissue in my ureter or a vein is wrapped around it and is causing an obstruction. My kidney may be dead or dying. I have surgery scheduled for the 15th. He will do a scope and if it looks fixable, will put in a stint until he can do more surgery to fix it. This has turned-out to be much more than I expected. I guess it's a good thing that I'm not in the middle of a move to a new location and job right now....sigh...still no job in sight....will interview for a Pre-school position the week of the 13th....my surgery is on the 15th....I have an x-ray appointment on the 8th and also a pre-op appointment.

Nite nite...JJ

Good grief! That's a heck of a note. I hope it turns out much better than the scenario your urologist has described. Doctors seem to have a knack for always painting the worst possible picture.

Wow Jill!!!!!!

I have found that the doc's seem to scare the beegeezes out of you when "guessing" - hopefully that will be the case here!

Good luck and best wishes for a minimal problem and a quick recovery.

Hang in there.

Love,
Mars
