Verdict is in on Grandson Cole

Post by annie oakley »

Well....all said and done...he is in a turtios shell brace for his back...It's technically broken but he's lucky it only the vertebrae. He got pain pills and the doctor told him he could go to the reunion as long as he could take the ride. My son called about an hour ago and the kid is doing good riding in the back seat. We are leaving in the am to drop Buck and Jasmine at the vets for the weekend...they hate this but better than the heat down there in Junction and all the people coming in the room. I made a cheesecake for the contest....bottom is gram crust next is a caramel and pecan layer then chocolate cheese cake and top layer reg cheesecake and pecans. I am away from the salt pit at work til tuesday morning yahoooooo!!!! I will probably not post until Sunday night. Take care Love you all Oma

That's good news. Hopefully, his recovery will go smoothly.

Have a safe trip to Junction, and back home, and I hope everyone has a good time at the reunion.

Love,
Tex

Whew - great news Oma! It could have been so much worse. Hope he tolerates the trip well although he will probably feel it tonight!

Your cheesecake can make a trip here if they don't like it at the reunion! Teehee - hope you win the blue ribbon!

Have fun with family and bid goodbye to the "salt pit" till Tuesday!

Love,
Mars
