Do you think that may be the connection? That maybe it's the intolerance to High fructose CORN syrup and other CORN products and that intolerance to fructose in fruit and things like that aren't corn related? Maybe that is why they think I will be able to add back in some fruits later on. Just thinking. Sometimes that is scary - me thinking. LOL

Could be. The "experts" claim that the body cannot tell the difference between the fructose in corn syrup, and fructose from any other source. I remain skeptical, however. The "experts" also claim that someone with an intolerance to corn, will not be affected by corn oil, (because there is not supposed to be any protein in any of the oils). However, those of us on this board, who are corn intolerant, seem to react to corn oil, so that claim is called into question, also.
