Hi Pegster...I forgot to ask if I will be out of commission for a while...I am planning to be resting for 3 days. I have 2 new kids arriving on Sunday and need to clean, etc. I will be home sometime tomorrow early afternoon. My neighbor is taking me and bringing me home and my sis will sit with me in recovery, then come over in the afternoon. All should go well. My neck is better today, but I tweaked my lower back and now that hurts. I can't take nsaids, so I am outta luck... My heating pad is my friend, or should I ice my back>?

I've heard that alternating heat and ice is a good idea.

Glad you've got a support team. If I were closer I'd come and be :nurse: for you!

Hugs

Hello Jill

Hope it all goes well for you. I know what those tests can be like. I still have to have yearly scans to test the repair of my ureter. It was accidently severed during my bowel surgery. The one that was the worst was when I still had the indwelt catheter & they put the nuclear stuff in until it went through my ureter & reached my kidneys. Bladder looked like a football. I thought I was going to explode. I know how horrible it must have been for you. Hopefully the surgery will correct your problems. I will be thinking of you.

Love
& hugs
