Woe is me

Post by Mars »

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to cry a little bit since I haven't done it in awhile. Haven't been posting much since there is soooooo much going on our life right now. Don't want any sympathy, just a shoulder to cry on!!!!!

OK - here's the scoop (although I am embarrassed and all the stuff that goes with it but you are all my family and I just need to unload and whine!!!!

It seems that we have gotten ourselves into a preditory lending company for our home. That means that they inflated the house value to accomodate "less than perfect" credit customers and lent us money with a fluctuating interest rate of up to 13%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The incremental payments have gone up every 3-6 months. The value of the home is $40,000 less than the financed amount. Needless to say, we will be moving as soon as we can.

The makes us homeless soon and extra money needed for deposits, moving expenses, attorney fees, etc. Oh man, woe is me..........

We are now in such a mess that the D is back full force due to the stress. I have a sty in my eye that has my face swollen under the eye - going to the doc tomorrow for that - I feel like someone punched me in the face.

On a good note, Trisha is expecting another BOY in December and is doing well except for gestational diabetes. She is handling that pretty well by eating the right foods and eating every couple of hours.

Bryce is in the 1st grade, on base, and "loves the chocolate milk" LMAO!!!!

Jordan starts K this year and is looking forward to that.

In the meantime, we have been helping Jordan's mom with her bills (yea, I know - LEARN TO SAY NNNNOOOOO!) which has contributed to our problems.

Everything else is ok I guess. It's not the end of the world and we will survive but the day-to-day "not knowing" and uncertanty is killing us.

OH, another thing, my newest computer needs a new mother board and screen - it's a laptop and top-of-the-line from Dell. I use it for work and all the other things I do. Now I'm using Larry's , which leaves me in a mess with my schoolingetc. Whew - its rough here in Ohio!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok - ENOUGH - thanks for listening to me whine. I'll quit now! There are worse off people in the world than me!

My love to all,
Mars

Oh Margie-----

I am so sorry to read of this predicament that has smacked U guys right in the face-----and I wish I could say something to ease your *stress*--

Do we ever *learn* to say NOOOOOO??? NO--we dont-----cus we want to ease their burden~~~~~
I fully understand all that U have said----and my heart aches for U--

And I have said those words many a-time---*there are worse than us* but @ this moment to U---your family lives ARE the very worse --it is such a natural thing to feel---

Again---it is for your good sense of being to come here and *scream* your head off---
We all have been there---and we,no doubt will be in bad spots again---it helps to LET IT OUT!!!!! and to know we are hear to LISTEN and FEEL--

Someone led all of us to this *home* and to Xplode to OUR family---
Keep hold of yourself----

Oh Mars Bar,

How stressful. Just what you don't need. I really don't know anything about this kind of issue, but I know enough to ask if you have any legal recourse at all? Has this company done this to others? Maybe you can join a lawsuit. Have you checked with the better business bureau? Please do not feel embarrassed - you did nothing wrong. You were taken avantage of by unscrupulous people.

I do know that it will all work out. Not that you won't have terribly difficult times, but things have a way of working out, sooner or later. Let's just hope it's sooner in your case. Keeping everything crossed and sending positive thoughts and prayers............... We are always here for you.

Mars,

I'm at a loss for the right words. Our government seems to be progressively generous about passing laws that give credit card companies, and certain mortgage lenders, the right to steal, by allowing outrageous interest rates, and fees. Evidently they must make huge campaign contributions.

I certainly hope things start going your way, soon.

Much love,
Tex

What a bummer. I hope you can extricate yourselves sooner than later. I heard a piece on the radio yesterday about producing companies and financial companies. The financial companies get all the breaks (like Tex said) but produce nothing. It turns out they produce plenty of woe!!!!!

Glad to hear things are good with the kiddies. We're off to amuse grandchild #1 while we await #2, whose arrival is imminent.

Good luck Mars. Hope your eye is better, too.

Oh Mars!

I know that :bricks: feeling all too well!! I'm sorry you are dealing with so much at once! And who needs health issues on top of the stress

I hope the eye "thingy" is resolved soon and the D lets up...then you can get to work kicking some lender @$$!!! Sounds like if you are planning for attorney fees you have some legal recourse... I hope so!!

I will send "quick resolution" thoughts your way. And just so you know, your gripes and woes are completely valid even *if* other people are enduring things that are much worse....
