GOOD to hear from you Carol!!
No flooding here, Thank Goodness. We have had a large amount of much needed rain, but nothing like a a few years back when we had flooding in surrounding cities like Lousiville, Bolivar, and water in my basement was like geysers coming up out of the cracks in the cement floor..
Pretty scary pics that Margie posted around Mansfield!!!
Very weird weather pattern going on..
How about you?? Any severe weather up there??
How are you & Harry doing??
Love
Dee~~~~~

Hi Dee,
Glad to hear you didn`t have any personal flooding. We had a lot of rain but the worst we got was a flooded back yard for a few hours.
Thanks for asking about us. Harry has been doing fine....even built a superfine grooming table for our Golden last week. As for me....well, I can`t seem to stop hurting myself. First it was the head injury in Jan. then the broken wrist and 2 1/2 weeks ago I lifted a pail of water from my laundry tub and felt like my entire lower body was becoming disconnected. I had a nerve block (Caudal) 2 weeks ago which didn`t work so am now having an MRI on Friday. Even the slightest thing...even showering....causes severe pain. I guess I keep forgetting I`m no longer 30. I even quit my job. My boss has been so good to me I just couldn`t keep messing up his schedules. Oh, well...who needs to work until they die on the job, anyway?
And how are you and Jack doing. Well, I hope. Love, Carol

We are good! The water has recided in most areas but the mud, sewer and road damage are terrible. There isn't a dehumidifyer, sump pump, shop vac to be found in a 50 mile radius.
WOW Liz!!!! We made the news clear to Australia???? I'm impressed. We are awaiting news from the feds this morning if the area will be declared a disaster area to make way for FEMA and other forms of assistance. Some lost everything.
Oh, I made it to work ok with little to no damage. The water was VERY close to our office but it weathered the flood. It did take me an hour to get to work (I couln't find a road that wasn't flooded) where it usually takes me 10 minutes!
The agency I work for does housing management and development. The apartment building beside our office had 8 inches of rain in the basement apartments and stairwells. It was a crazy day.
There is a good chance of thunderstorms thru Saturday and we had thunder and lightening last night but no rain.
Love,
Mars

Parts of Northwest Ohio have not seen flooding like this past week since 1913...... I don't know the stats on Margie's area.
I sure hope someone pulls thru for these people that have lost their homes and possessions. If it's anything like Katrina, they are screwed!!!!
I hope most had flood zone insurance.....
No rain today so far, but the humidlity is unbearable.....
Love
