Update - Sad update

Post by Tessa »

Dear friends,

I was going to share my next tests with you, sheduled for Monday (which I will have to do anyway), but I have a sad news...

Yesterday, my father had an heart attack. Thanks God, it happend close to the local Hospital´s ER and they were able to save him...
He has gone through a stent procedure this morning and we are waiting for his heart´s reaction to it...

The artery that was blocked has 2 stents now, placed by a Catheter.

He was fine this morning after the procedure but this afternoon his blood pressure and heart rate have been slightly lower... We will have to wait for tomorrow....

Please, keep him in your prayers.
Thank you for your support,
Love,
Tessa

BTW. I will have my tests on Monday to check my drug allergies... I was scared about all this but my fears are gone. I am not worried about my tests anymore, but for him.
Will keep updating everytime I can.

Tessa,

I'm glad that he was near the hospital when it happened. Time is so very important in a situation like that.

Of course, I'll keep you both in my prayers, and in my thoughts. Good luck with the tests on monday.

Love,
Tex

Dear Tessa.

It must have been a very distressing time for you and a frightening one for your dad.

My husband has had several heart attacks, triple by-pass surgery and has seven stents. He has done very well each time and I pray that your dad does the same.

Please keep us updated on your dad and your tests. Love, Carol

Thank you all for your love and support. I have been trying to rest, as I have not been able to sleep well since he had the heart attack...

I will answer your posts later.

He is still in the ICU though the doctor has mentioned that he is stable and could be send to a private room at the Hospital, soon.

We are going to the Hospital now as it will take some time until we get there. They only allow a 10 minutes visit, but I am looking forward to seeing him again.

Will keep you updated my friends,
Take care,
Love,
Tessa
