Ears and Bears

Post by kate_ce1995 »

Well, woke up yesterday to the room spinning. Damn positional vertigo at it again. Seem to have a flare up of it about every 6 to 8 months or so. Needless to say I stayed home from work and slept all day.

Then, after I'd finally gotten up, Geoff and I were watching tv and he says "there's a bear in our yard". Sure enough, it was headed straight for one of the apple trees (knew exactly where he was going so must have visited us before). I managed to get one picture before he spooked.

A bear? How cool! Best I can do is coyote.
Sorry to hear about your vertigo. I know how nauseating that can be.

:weirdnana: I feel so blessed to have seen the bear (we named her Josephene) at the bird feeder twice in Pa and a big plus - got to see a bobcat and her 3 kittens playing in the back yard. I believe that will be a once in a lifetime thing. I do love the wildlife up there.

Vertigo is NO fun! I go through phases where I have a terrible time with it. I know a man who has to take meds on a constant basis just so he is able to drive!!

I know that when it hits me, I feel like I have the worst case of the flu ever - dizziness, eyeballs feel like they are rolling in your head!

I hope it doesn't come on too often for you! Once in a while is enough already!

How cool to see the bear. I wonder if it would have visited if there would have been people outside in the yard?

Love,
Mars
