Change in THYROID meds???????

Post by barbaranoela »

well, when one opens their mouth too soon,in reference to feeling better, thats when the *boom* falls----

Got a call from ENDO.----xplaining headaches and nausea---
I knew she would suggest a change in MEDS. and I understand thats the next road to follow---cus these headaches and nausea are hitting me like a see-saw ---thankfully I am not being confined to the good ole :flush: ---

Its funny cus she said what I said to L.-----sometimes people rather turn down the meds and just run with the hyper/op--not a good idea I assume!!!
And boy I have thought that many a time----I had the best night sleeps being hyper.!!!
I mean what has changed??? I am still tired  cus my nights sleep isnt
SOUND---

I forgot the name but it will be 2x a day pill----and I am sick of pills!!!

Get a load of this-----remember me saying that I had dropped from 119 (due to dehydration) to 115 OVERNIGHT!!! (the sweltering day @ Lynn's)
Well since Sunday I have been eating good meals and also adding all the junk I can shovel in my mouth--
I am now down to 113????? :duh:

Well I am having a ball munching on the munchies and keeping that pint of ice cream in my hand and just letting it roll down my throat!!! umum good!!!

Has anyone ever had a change in their meds.????

Not going to AZ. was the best decision we made~~~~~

OH---GLORY BE---my DIL got a JOB!!!!!!Praide the Lord and pass the ammunition~~~

Ok----thats it again------

Have a good night and a great day tomorrow----

Hi Barbara,

Would you be willing to trade for my hypothyroid condition? I could stand to lose some weight.

The only change I've ever had in thyroid meds, was an increase in the dosage rate, and so far it's been hard to tell any difference. I don't think that side effects are much of a problem with the hormone supplement one takes for hypothyroidism, though.

Good night, Mrs Columbo.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Oh Barb, I feel for you.......I was hyper before my surgery. I find hyper much more difficult to deal with than hypo. Thyroid hormone works with every part of your body. If it is outta whack your outta whack! I hope you find the perfect doseage of meds that works soon. Just fyi & not sure if this would apply to you but........When I had hyperthyroidsm I went undiagnosed for quite awhile. It really does a number on your adrenal system. Mine was fried and it has taken me a couple of years to get it healed. I would ask doc about an adrenal supplement. I took Isocort made by Bezwecken. It is made right here in Portland but do you think I could find it anywhere local? Nope, I had to order it on line.

Hugs!
