Its been a mighty long time since I been to him but for a few weeks now both cheeks of my ars(boy we do get upfront with our ailments ) have been aching like mad and running down right leg--
I am hoping its not what I am thinking---
I know I did some heavy cleaning so I am hoping its all pulled muscles
But this has been being on the thyroid meds---both papers claim muscle aches----BUT is ya *ars* a muscle???

I can just see Lou rolling his eyes.
Yep, your gluteus maximus muscles are located there, to say nothing of the gluteus medius and gluteus minimus muscles. If you do a lot of bending way over, and you're not used to stretching those muscles, they can get downright sore, but of course, the meds could be making it worse, also. If the soreness is due to the work you did cleaning, it shouldn't be lasting for weeks, (unless you've been cleaning for weeks).
The sciatic nerve runs through the piniformis muscle, which is also located there, but if you had sciatica, there should be some numbless and possibly tingling, in your lower back and/or leg, in addition to the pain.
I hope the aching goes away in a day or so.
