Don had his first chemo last Tuesday and returns this coming Tuesday for the second. Then he will skip a week. Nancy (wife) told me that he didn't tolerate the chemo too well. I didn't press for details. He still doesn't want to eat. Since they want him to eat very fattening foods, I am taking up a super calorie chocolate cake that I make. Chocolate was always his favorite flavor so I'm hoping it will be tempting.

His daughter (Kelly) flew in today from Binghamton, N.Y. She is going to try to come about once a month. She'll be here for a week. She works for Lockeed Martin (or at least what used to be Lockeed Martin - May have changed names a few years ago). Anyway, they are being super generous with Family Leave, etc. Also continuing to pay her when she is gone. Treating her very, very well. There are also 3 boys but Nancy can't count on much help from them, unfortunately. Kelly will be her "rock".

Thanks for asking, Barbara. Are you feeling better?? I haven't read the other posts yet. I may not get to if my computer keeps acting up. Problems are continuing..............what else is new.

Love, Shirley
