Jaco, a parrot in Salzburg, could not only speak but seemed to understand grammar. Whenever his person left, Jaco would say "God be with you." But when several people were departing, Jaco would change it to "God be with all of you."

Thank you, everybody, for the wonderful birthday wishes. We are in Atlanta at my son's house and they were so amazed by the farflung places my greetings came from. I had a great day with both sons, both daughter-in-laws, both grandchildren and of course hubby. I got to pick the places, so we went to the Havana Cafe for lunch. Besides great Cuban sandwiches, they have delicious fried plantains and fantastic coffee. Then for dinner we went to Dairy Queen for dipped cones and heath bar blizzards. Ahhh, I won't have another day like that for a while.

I'm so glad to know you all. Hope you had good days, too. And see you soon Alice. Happy B-day tomorrow. You can pick the place we go!
