Calling Galahad~~~~

Post by barbaranoela »

Galahad-----thanks for that great *thyroid* site---it gave me more info!!that I could understand EASILY!!! than the reading I have done---and the Xplanation from Endo.-which she really Xplained as easily as she could--but U know after a few words all the BIG medical Xplaining pops in~~~

I was taken off TAPAZOLE--5mg.--once a day--cus it caused me megga headaches and constant nausea--

Am now PTU---2X's a day---50mgs--??? which endo said is a very low dosage?? could fool me~~~ I saw 50 and almost--well did say OMG~~  ---
Endo isnt worried cus the 50mg PTU is a lower dosage the TAP--5mg.?? and the blood workup every month keeps track of thyroid and all organs that keep ya body alive and kicking--

Must ask her---how is 50mg lower than 5 mg?? I gather it has to due with the contents of each meds.??
And I had that radio iodine active test BEFORE starting meds.

SOOOOOOOOO thanks for that sight----I have it in my favorites--

Have a good one---

Good morning, Mrs. Columbo,

I'm glad that site was helpful. As always, you're more than welcome.

I hope you're feeling great today.

Luve,

LOL. Yes, I can believe that you're not a patient patient, but you know what? If more patients asked questions the way you do, maybe more doctors would know the answers.

Well, in the long run, changing mattresses will make life a lot easier, just in case you ever should decide to take your bedroom set and lamps, and head for the street corner. You would have had to rent a bulldozer, or a team of wild horses, to drag that waterbed out in a hurry.

Kathy/Hazel too----

Id even squirt it to Cali.

And to top it all off we *did* empty the water once before----cus we sprung a few *leaks* which forced us to buy a new *boat*---(thats after we even had *patched* it too)

When Mr. L. gets an idea---thats IT!!!

Actually -- I am looking foward to the other type mattress---

We have had this a VERY LONG TIME and the fear of *sinking* while sleeping is sorta creeping into my mind---

Till later--

 Barbara, it might be easier to just toss the (empty) water bed out the window rather than trying to drag it around in the house.
