Sigh - went to a funeral this morning...
So sad. The daughter of a woman in my breast cancer support group was killed in a car accident on Saturday. I'd never met the daughter, personally. She was 19 and a college student. The accident happened @ 10am, so alcohol is not a suspect factor. This girl was a passenger in her friend's car. The friend, as well as the driver of the other car - (it was a head-on collision) were both critically injured with head-injuries, so they likely will never know what happened (no witnesses).
The service was beautiful, and our new pastor gave an *amazing* eulogy. Her parents even got up and spoke at the end - it was an amazing tribute to a very special young lady...
An awful tragedy - and another reminder that life is short - live it with grace, purpose and joy.

We can never be prepared for things like this to happen, especially to young ones.
