Its Hotter then Hell here in TO
Well, maybe it might be hotter in hell, but here it is pretty bad. I am not complaining, I am just not staying out for long when I go out with Pebbles. We have a high humidex here, so its something like 40 or 42 Celsius with that included. That is I believe around the hundred mark, for what it feels like outside. But the big problem is the smog warning is very high right now too, so if you have any breathing problems or allergies they react to the outside. I find it hard to breath myself, and of course their is my problem with my body temperature always changing causing me to sweat profusely. They have a name for people who have overly sweaty palms and feet, and underarms, but I don't think there is a name for what happens to me. I sweat from the head down, and the least area is my hands. So going outside for even a few minutes leaves me with soaken wet hair. Lovely, right? SO no matter how I have my hair when I leave the house, it is wet in no time. Thank goodness it curls, but if it is not cut right, then even the curls look awful. Which is the way the last person cut my hair, I can never get the woman who knows what to do, so that even if it is wet, I can just fluff it. Anyway, the guys keep the air conditioner on at a good temp, and here in the basement apt. it is fine. Oh, I even sweat in the air conditioner if I move to quickly or for no reason at all.
Today I am supposed to rest up anyway, so that I can go to the Pride parade tomorrow with the youngen's, I will know by the end of today though if I will be up for it. I am just dizzy allot today, and my cheeks are flushed and red, same with my nose. Weird eh, and they are hot to touch, but I never get a fever, not ever, I'm just flushed. And bone tired.
Well my brother is coming over for me to help him write a letter to WSIB, or workmans comp. He has been off work since last Aug. and is still not doing well, but they think he is just fine, mind you he can't stay awake for long and the pain is not tollerable, and he is trying to wean himself on oxycodin that they put him on, but hey he can work through that. The oxycodin is the worst med out there for addiction, after only a few months, it has been intollerable to go off it cold turkey, he has been slowly doing it, 5 to 10 mg at at time, but since they had him taking 80mg twice a day, it is going to take a bit to be off it completely. They are now using a med that is less likely to cause the other side effects and is not supposed to be addictive. After seeing what happened to him I will never touch the stuff. He said it did work great for the pain, but if you can't function its not a good solution. Anyway, I am off to help him with that.
Hugs to all, and stay cool.

May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
Good grief, Wendy!! Do you have AC? Or lots of fans?
It's fairly comfortable here today. And this house is very well insulated so it doesn't get hot inside until late in the PM.
Sweat is the name of the game, all right. And I HATE to sweat. Almost as much as I hate to
Love,
Sally
