I luved the 60's -------I was jiving and singing and when I saw Dick Clark's show --well heck I almost cried------
Me and Noreen watched that every day---we luved it---
And all that good music---awwwwwwwwwww---I miss that so much
Robert and Barbara took us(for one anniversary) to see Chubby Checkers-------whatta time we had----and a movie house in Suffren would have (once a month) the top names rockin and rollin----Boy we did see some groups as they started their rise to fame-----
Heck Maggie I remember when stamps were .02 cents-------and for 5 cents U could buy the Sunday News and Daily Mirror papers!!! Of course that was when I was still a teenager-----
I better check my birth certiciate--maybe I am older than I think I am
And I watched all those shows too----

PS. and the first TV--wowee---THAT WAS A THRILL----

I knew you would love it!!
I remember the .02 cent stamp and if you are aware of Tastycakes - I remember the 3 pack of chocolate cupcakes for 6 cents.
So many people from my class went to bandstand and pulled sweaters over their school uniforms. The nuns used to look for us and you would get detention the next day for dancing too close.
I also remember the first bottles of Triple Cola being 15 cents.
Guess the whole world has changed and not sure if it was for the better. However, without the computer how would I ever have met someone so fantastic and loving.
