Overwhelming project done!!!

Post by Mars »

Hi everyone,

I've been absent for a few weeks because of a HUGE project at work. We finished on Friday with an original application and 3 copies, each in a 4" binder! OMG - it was a collaboration with quite a few people; many, many hours (I worked 10-12 hour days for 3 weeks) and a "feel good" application at the end. That doesn't count the binder we copied to maintain in the office. WHEW!

I've been keeping up by reading but not many posts. Glad to be back!

Love,
Mars

Glad it's finished. It's good to see you posting again - I wondered what was keeping you so busy.

 Glad to hear it was work and not health reasons.
How are you doing in that area, by the way?

Sounds like a job well done and so glad you are pleased with the result.

Thanks everyone!

We are applying to the State of Ohio to be designated at the Community Action Agency for our County and a surrounding one. We are in a competition with another agency who already has the designation but from another county who are filling in on a temperary basis. We probably won't know until April! That's almost criminal!

Health is pretty good. The carpal tunnel has been awful with all the typing and 3-hole punching and constant stress on my hand/arm. Last night it stuck in place for over an hour with awful pain. I am resting it as much as possible this weekend. I have been off of work since Friday at noon and am off today due to the holiday.

Other than that, things aren't too bad. I feel kind of tired but I figure it is my body "shutting down" from the adrenalin rush of the last few weeks.

"D" seems to be under control unless I eat something that doesn't agree with me. I try to watch that but I'm doing pretty good.

Glad to be back everyone!

Love,
Mars

Welcome Back Mars,

Totally understand the overwhelming part and the misery of the wait for an answer. Sure hope it is positive.

Did big event last week and think I am starting to feel my age. LOL
