Good luck, Jill!

Hey Jill!

I live just a little north of Baltimore - like about 9-10 miles! I would LOVE it if you relocated here - how wonderful to have more family nearby. Which school is it, if you don't mind saying? We have some terrific private schools here. Please keep me posted. And GOOD LUCK!

Love,

Polly

Hi Polly,

It is St. Paul's School for Girls. It's a private school affiliated with the Episcopal Church...grades 5-12. (My old school was also affiliated with the Episcopal church.)There is a brother school for boys near-by. They said it was on a hill overlooking Baltimore and was on the road that leads to the country. I guess it takes 15-20 minutes to get to town. In the phone interview they brought up my skiing...they said it is one and half hrs to the nearest ski area....either in Pennsylvania or West Virginia. Heck, it takes me one hour and 15 mins to get to my ski area! So, we'll see if I actually go for an interview......I also found an opening at a CC on the Olympic Peninsula in WA....gorgeous area. I keep applying...something will turn-up.

BTW...it's great to have you back Polly!

TTFN...JJ

Hi Jill!

Guess what?! My hubby graduated from the same St. Paul's School for Boys! And we live only about 5-10 minutes from the schools. It IS a lovely campus, and I have met people who work there and love it! OOOOOh, it would be so super to have you here!

Yes, the skiing in PA is only 1 and 1/2 hour away. Also, we have good skiing at Deep Creek Lake (kind of a miniature Tahoe) in western MD. It takes about 3 to 3 and 1/2 hours to get there and the drive is a straight shot and very enjoyable. Of course, our mountains probably aren't nearly as high as what you are used to, but I've always enjoyed the skiing.

It's great to be back! Thanks.

Love,

Polly

That is so cool! Knowing that you are near to the school eases my fear of the possibility of moving to the East. I'll keep you posted!
