The "lump" I have, could it actually be a swollen lymph node ? The reason I ask is that I have been having trouble with swollen lymph nodes - behind my jaw, underarms, etc. They will swell, be tender, then get a little better, then all over again - off & on.
Anyway, I guess my question is : Do we have lymph nodes in our boobies ?
And, what makes them do that anyway ?
I don't know the answer to your questions but I'm sure someone will. I have fibroid cysts that cause quite a stir every year during my mamo. I am almost always sent to the surgeon the same day the doctor sees my results. sigh SCARES THE LIVING CRAP OUT ME! ( no pun intended - lol)
I also have swollen glands (that's what I call them) under my arms that come and go. Seems to happen when the fibroids are acting up. This also seems to happen around the time I used to ovulate. (I had a hysto. quite a few years ago) Seems like the body doesn't forget.
Of course, they could just be a blob of fat! LOL (Mine, not yours!)

You are hilarious As for lymph nodes, we don't have any in our boobs.. the nearest ones are under your armpits..
You know, mine frequently get swollen too... the ones under my chin, and sometimes the ones under my arms. I think it's a result of when I use a lotion or deoderant that I'm allergic to. I never realize I'm allergic until it's too late... in your case, it could be a result of a virus or infection - I believe they swell when they're fighting infection..
Anyway, my two cents.. good luck with the boobs!!! Hope everything turns out alright! Did you ever call your doctor?
Some times the ones in my armpits will get swollen...a doctor told me that it could be the anti-perserant I was using...that it was clogging them up....he said use anti-perserant not deorderant. But who knows...I am suprised they don't know what to tell you. Good luck there! Love Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
The ones in the arm pits are directly related to the boobs though. I know when they test for spread of breast cancer they test those (My mom had a double masectomy 8 years ago).
