Hi Oma,

Nope, no snow here. We had a good rain, though, over the past couple of days - close to an inch and a half. I think that may be enough rain to not only germinate all the dry-planted wheat around here, but keep it going long enough to survive until the next rain. All the farmers were afraid that we would get up to an inch, and the wheat would germinate and then die, as the roots ran out of moisture, but this should do the trick, in most places around here.

Hope you don't get snowed in. We'll probably stay above freezing, here, but it will be close.

Love,
Tex

Hi Oma & Tex,

Our snow was on Friday. It was heavy at times but didn't last. I don't think Amarillo got an inch.

I thought about you Oma on Thursday. My niece and her family spent Thanksgiving with her inlaws at Haskell. She called my Mom that morning to let us know they had about an inch of snow. She was bundling the eleven and ten year old boys to go hunting. She and the 18 month old boy were going to take a nap!

Take care.
Brenda
