Calling Maggie

Post by barbaranoela »

Well I surely do envy your get and doing for the holidays---all done and shipped out---and I betcha with the coolest gifts too-

Yes, I remember back U saying how U decorate your place----it is a beautiful sight to see the homes booming with the Christmas spirit--

We used to decorate right after Thanksgiving but the traveling to AZ. put a stop to that--naturally
So we gave all our decorations to Lynn-- --and she makes her place alive and poppin---and the girls luve it--

So even if we wanted to decorate--cant be Indian givers and ask Lynn for everything back  -we do nothing --and to tell U the truth Luigi and I seem to have become Mr. and Mrs. Scrooge --
Since everything is attributed to AGE---I shall use that phrase too!!

We seem to be having *brake* issues with the car we bought when we got home---a Hyundai (or however U spell it) --so it goes in later on--only bought it to save wear and tear on the Buick(which is termed the Senior Citizen Car in AZ)

Take care Maggs---and Happy Holidays to U and Frank--
luve Barbara

Morning Barbara,

It is nice to have it all done, but quite honestly I don't know how many more years I am going to do it. Tried cutting back this year but only a bit.

Off tomorrow so I can go with Frank for his colonoscopy that someone must be while it is being done and to take him hone afterwards. When I have gone paratransit - his employer - has always brought me home. State laws have changed all that now and you must be accompanied by relative or "good" friend. Why would you take a bad friend.

Next Friday is his hernia surgery and a "good" friend is taking him.

Love, Mags
