once again thanks for the info-----NOW I dont want to have this done-UFF-

I know there is always a *possible to happen* so one has to weigh the consequences---

and I blame this toe fungi---from the filthy GYM floors that we used,in AZ, doing our YOGA---I always washed my own MAT after each workout--but there were times when we stood off the Mat and our DAINTY feet  were on the floor--

One gal there QUESTIONED the cleanliness and OF COUSE they said floor was cleaned after anyone used it--

BULL-----cus before us was a class of seniors that did SIT and BE-FIT--shoed and using the foldable chairs that were then stacked on the side-

My toe was FUNGIED whilst in AZ.

thanks again---

You're very welcome, but I wasn't trying to talk you out of having that procedure done. I get the impression that once the cement has hardened, (about 10 minutes after being injected), the metal brace would no longer be needed. As you say, though, everything carries a risk.

Cleaning the gym floor would make it look better, but it wouldn't be likely to kill any fungus spores that might be there, unless the floor was scrubbed with a strong disinfectant. Usually, they just sweep gym floors, don't they?

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
