Ten Super Healthy Foods For Super Health

Post by tex »

At least, that's how the Centers for Science in the Public Interest rates them, as published in Monday's edition of The Dallas Morning News.

Some of us would probably argue that a couple of the recommendations, (specifically, milk and crispbread), are probably not a healthy recommendation for most people, though our opinion runs counter to conventional wisdom.

Mrs. Columbo,

You apparently had a four course dinner - the main course, followed by three desert courses. Heck, you had one of the "super healthy" foods from the list, so that's bound to be a healthy dinner. LOL.

I'll bet it was mighty good, too.

Good night Mrs. Columbo,

Luve,
Galahad

Hi Tex!

I would agree with all except the milk. As you know, I do not believe that milk is healthy for adults....no other animal on the planet drinks milk past infancy, and I don't think we should either. The milk industry is powerful and has convinced us from childhood that we need milk to have healthy bones, teeth, etc. It's simply not true. And, as you and I have found, milk causes arthritis in some people. Otherwise I like the list. Two of my favorites are sweet potato and kale - I try to eat them several times a week. Thanks for sharing.

Love,

Polly

Joanna,

Wow! That's an awesome article, as far as making a case against milk consumption is concerned.

Thanks for the link.
