The SWEETEST THOUGHT--read--please

Post by barbaranoela »

Over the years---we have seen this man(who lives about 6 streets away from us)---walking down the road---with a back pack---and then hours later here he comes walking with groceries stacked in the back-pack--
Well one day we stopped and asked *would U like a ride into town* and *thank-U* he said---and got in the car--thus began our freindship with INGO---he luves walking---but on a bad day he really appreciates the ride into town---then we plan *time* for meeting --pick him up and take him home--

Now--L and I said---*how do we remember his name--? SIMPLE--OUT-go!!! INGO~~~~~~

Whenever he is in the need of groceries---this is what he does--
Has a big home but is all alone and the sweetest person U could ever meet--wife passed away and son lives in the city--
This afternoon he stopped here and brought me a cake--that he baked--as a thank U for our kindess when he was in need!!!!

Isnt this a nice story------

Lovely story Barb. Wasn't it nice too that he showed his appreciation like that.
It reminds me of a friend of ours who lived near the crematorium & she used to see this old man walking past each week. Turned out that he used to each Wednesday to where his wifes ashes were stored. There was no transport to speak of so he used to walk for about 2 miles each way. Iris then decided to meet him each week & drive him to his destination.

Dang, Barbara,

You're as good a writer as Charles Dickens. That was a beautiful Christmas story. Thanks for sharing that.

Morning Barbara,

Was absolutely the best Christmas Story I have heard. You and Lou are such kind people and it is time that it is returned to you.

Great talking with you yesterday and so sorry for being scattered.

Love, Maggie
