going to Rheumatologist today

Post by sunny »

Feel apprehensive....got the referral to Rheumatologist months ago before the Big D hit because of joint pain, achy muscles etc. I have been resarching Enteropathic Arthritis and now have something to worry about besides RA or Fibromyalgia ....trying not to worry as I know that is stressful and impacts gut, etc. I am wondering if the doc even knows aobut LC or not? Well, I think I know enuff now that I can explain some of it thanx to all you folks who have been so kind as to teach me.
I am amazed each day as I scan the site to see how interconnected all the various illness/disease/diagnoses are!! Good Grief!!!
More later when I know more.

Sunny,

Most of us have been through that stage, also. It's part of the leaky gut syndrome, triggered by gluten sensitivity, and it will fade away as your gut heals.

I don't believe we've seen the term Enteropathic Arthritis here before, so thanks for teaching us something new. I'll be surprised if your Rheumatologist is familiar with MC, or any connection between it and any form of arthritis.

I'll be looking forward to your update.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
