Pat,

Hope your doing better. I need to clarify something in an earlier post here- I said I took pred. for 3 months prior to using Entocort but took it for 2 months. My mistake, is worth mentioning for sure.

Thanks to you all for the words of encouragement.

I have now been on 40 mg Prednisone/day for a week. I am taking fewer and fewer Lomotil (was taking 8/day) and having stools that are becoming thicker. So I am encouraged! I have had this, MC, for over 8 years and know that it is going to take awhile. I will continue with the GF, DF, SF, FF diet and see what happens. I think it is important not to cheat at this time. Maybe when I start putting on weight I can try the Paleo diet again.

P.S. I got my mom moved into assisted living yesterday. I think she likes it and it will be nice to have her closer to me.
