Our Friend - Don...

Post by starfire »

He died about 5 AM today. The past week was very bad and I'm glad the family can finally start recovering instead of focusing on the dying. His wife (Nancy) has lots of company including out of state children, etc. but when the coming week is over she will be faced with the "aloneness". I hope she will handle it OK.

I hope to be "around" more now.

Love, Shirley

Shirley,

I'm very sorry to "hear" that news, even though we knew it was inevitable. You're right, of course, when the time comes to face the "day to day routine", after everyone goes home, the loneliness will really hit home. I too, hope she can find the strength to move on with her life.

Love,
Tex

Morning Shirley,

So sorry to hear that Don has gone home but it seems like it was for the better. I am sure you will be a wonderful comfort to his wife.

Love, Maggie

So sorry. I know it was inevitable but it is still such a loss. It's something we all go through sooner or later but it's always hard. Glad Nancy has the kids and good friends like you.
