It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Well, I'm a bit concerned, now. It's been six days since Liz has logged on, (Jan. 21). I hope it's just a communications problem, and not something serious.

Hello All,
Sorry that I have not been in for a while. I have been so busy with coaching the District side, VIEW club & of course Judith & the kids came over from New Zealand for a short visit, only 9 days & it all went too quickly.
We are quite Ok here although some areas have & are still having huge problems. There is more rain on the way but that is the way it is here. One minute you are in drought & the next you have floods & cyclones. We have not have a cyclone yet
this year but they are predicting that we will. I drove home from the coast in torrential rain the other day, could hardly see where you were going & then we had it at home. Our new tank was overflowing & it seems a shame to waste all of that water so I quickly filled my hydrotheraphy spa bath & had the first one that I had had for months.
We are now running the house off our tank most of the time so we are thinking of putting in another tank. We still have water restrictions although the dams are about 30% full. In any case I think the days of unlimited use of water are over. That’s why I want to put in another tank as then we can be a little bit self sufficient.

Yes Wayne, it has been great, everything is green again. It has been very hard for some people who have been so affected by flooding. I think that people have forgotten how it can be in this country. There are children who have never seen any decent rain in their lives. There have always been bouts of drought followed by flooding as long as I can remember but with all of the talk of global warming & people saying it may never rain again it came as a bit of a shock & people were unprepared. We are in a very low lying area & if we got a cyclone with king tides we could be in a spot of bother. The water was up to our floorboards in the 1974 floods but I think they have improved on the drainage system since then (I hope) We were living in Brisbane then, on one of the highest hills so were not affected but the central city area & a great part of many of the suburbs were well under water, many with water covering the rooftops. It was heartbreaking for many people.
