Twinkie: Deconstructed

Post by artteacher »

Hi Guys,

I thought I'd recommend a book. It's called Twinkie Deconstructed. It describes each ingredient in a Twinkie, and each ingredients origins, method of manufacture, etc. For those with corn sensitivities, it's especially fascinating. It's not as "in depth" as it could be, but very readable. And kind of alarming. The author is not an extremist, but tries to present the facts in a humorous and fair way. Even then, it's pretty obvious why so many Americans are sick - we don't eat authentic food.

See you all later, Marsha
