Sunny's doc & thanx for responding

Post by sunny »

Dr. Kao's nurse just called....doc wants another c-diff test....hmmmm.....seems like a waste of time....but I 'll do it. If this were c-diff I would have D all the time, not once or twice every other day or so, right?
Thanx for the responses to my SOS.....it was just the one eposode, so it is clear to me that this is indeed food related.

I would have to agree, but it's something that a Dr has to eliminate as a cause before they can move on to the more rarer things.

Also, (in addition to what Mike said, a follow-up test on a negative result is a good idea sometimes, since it is not uncommon for it to be missed in the first test. I agree that you probably do not have C diff, as it is usually pretty rough stuff, and typically is accompanied by blood in the stool.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
