Hi Tessa,
I realize your breakfast is already in the past because of the time difference - I think it is 6 hours later in your part of the world than here on the East Coast, isn't it?
I think most of us thought breakfast was the most difficult meal to do on a GF diet when we were beginners. We are so used to cereals, bread, waffles, pancakes etc being part of breakfast.
Some good foods to include in a GF breakfast are: Eggs, fruit, meat/fish, and vegetables. Of course you can use a GF bread as a substitute if you are used to bread for breakfast. You can also use rice crackers/rice cakes with a little jam or nut butter added. Tea and coffee are both GF unless you use flavored varieties - they are not always GF. I like Earl Grey (Bergamot Oil does not bother me) and any kind of regular coffee. Beware of instant coffee - I think Sanka has gluten.
Let us know how you are doing!
Love,
Karen
Tessa - what's for breakfast?

Hi, Karen... Yes, it is 6 hours more here... I had lunch not long ago and you are having breakfast. ?
My husband bought a breadmaker!!!! Isn´t he lovely?
He was not that kind of men that enters the kithen to cook.... but, he has started making bread now and marmelade!!!! I am so proud of him...
(By the way, his first GF bread was today... but could not eat it... It is just a question of time... , he tried with gluten bread...perfect! And marmelade has such a wonderful taste!!! And GF!
I used to have "manzanilla", apple juice and bread with "margarina" and ham... for breakfast at 7 AM. It is not so bad... A few hours later, I have breakfast again... and around 4 PM, lunch...
Of course, I will keep telling how I am coping with it... We are going to the grocery today...
Love,
Tessa.
