Post by Dee »

2 tsp garlic salt
1 tablsp onion powder
1 tablsp sugar
2 tablsp oregano
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp sweet basil
1 tablsp parsley
1/4 tsp celery salt
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp xanthan gum
Mix and store in an airtight container..
To make salad dressing:
1/4 c cider vinegar
2/3 c oil
2 tablsp water
2 tablsp dry salad mix
Mix well.

I use the dry mix to make chicken fajitas.
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into thin strips
1 red & 1 green pepper cut into strips
1 onion cut in slices..
Saute chicken strips in 2 tablsp of sesame oil until juices run clear. About 10 minutes.
Saute peppers & onion in another skillet in 2 tablsp sesame oil. Saute until crisp tender.
Put sauteed chicken strips in the crisp tender peppers & onion and add
2 tablsp of the dry salad mix and stir..

GF Flour Tortillas
1/4 c each of brown rice flour, white rice flour, potato starch, arrowroot, tapioca flour
1 tsp salt
1-1/2 xanthan gum
1 rounded tsp of baking powder
1-1/2 tablsp oil
1.2 c water
Mix the dry ingredients together and then add the oil & water
Let mixture rest for 10 minutes.
Then make about 8 balls out of the mixture and roll out thin on rice floured waxed paper.
Put into a preheated medium high skillet and toast on both sides.
Take out of skillet & keep in between paper towels to keep warm until served...
