Chicken Nuggets

Post by Dee »

I made these yesterday for our dinner and Hubby loved them.
3 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts, trimmed of yuckies, & cut into chunks
1 c of GF flour blend ( I make up my own flour blend)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
Mix above together well and place in a big ziploc bag
Then in a medium size bowl beat 1 egg and 3/4 cup of dairy free or regular milk
Put your chicken chunks in the milk and egg mixture, then drop about half of them into the dry mixture in the ziploc bag. Give it a good shake.
Have a skillet preheating on medium with about an inch or better of canola oil or extra virgin olive oil.
Take the first batch of coated nuggets out of ziploc and put in preheated skillet. Put the next batch of nuggets in ziploc and do the same as above.
Turn nuggets in skillet once you see that they are getting a nice golden brown..
Total browning time should be about 15 minutes.....
A homemade honey/mustard dipping sauce served with these is very good.
