Last weekend as I froze my tushie off camping I realized I missed something socially about drinking with friends....sometimes a glass of wine just doesn't "fit" ie. camping - I wanted something I could swig out of a bottle,
so I saw something at the store up there which I had drank in my youth, but had forgotten about.....I sent them an email and got this lovely response.....Hi Mary,
Wyder's makes traditional Ciders fermented exclusively from fresh fruit (British Columbia Apples). We then add a natural fruit flavoring and aromatic ester that are free of the malt/grain products that concern you. We learned checking further w/our flavor supplier to make sure that there would be no 'cross contamination' with any malt flavors in their facility, that this possibility is quite remote.
I think this gives Wyder's Fermented Fruit Ciders a Clean Bill of Health! FYI, all the malt coolers, Smirnoff, Bacardi, alcoholic lemonades and sundry yucky coolers are cheap malt based.

's neck of the woods so it *must* be good stuff!! I've only seen/tried the pear and apple cider - but never cared for beer too much - this will be an awesome alternative
