something stange....

Post by sunny »

Well...this is wierd to say this....BUT....I am starting to see something strange in the t-bowl....it looks like the tip of a finger!! but with no nail, but an encapsulated something or other. I saw this phenomenon when I was so sick with MC in Dec & Jan. They stopped with the Entocort. Now that I am tapering off the entocort they are showing up again...just floating on top of the water after a trip to the ahem...potty.

Anyone have ANY idea what I am producing and WHY??????

I used to see the Asocol capsule come out looking about like it looked when I swallowed it. Do you take Asocol?

Hmmmmmm. That doesn't sound like anything that I've encountered before. What are you taking for the C. diff?

Well, it couldn't be the treatment, then. Since they're probably not being created by your digestive system, they have to be something that you're ingesting. What in the world could they be? Since they all have the same size and shape, they would just about have to be something swallowed whole, rather than chewed.

I assume that they show up with the default color, (Brown Dye No. 2, LOL), or do they by any chance have a unique color?

Normal transit time is around 30 hours, but, of course, the D associated with MC can shorten that to just a few hours, sometimes. Anyway, that gives you a range in which to consider a possible source.

Yep, weird is an apt description.

Were you checked for malabsorption? Could they by any chance be globules of fat? Wierd! Just grasping at straws here....I believe Barabara is the chief "I found something weird in my poop - I'll scoop it out and bring it to my doc" sleuth
