NOW THE LOUIE ISSUES--UFF

Post by barbaranoela »

well he is off to the orthopedic---cus it appears that the miniscis(spelling) in his other knee cap is in TROUBLE---knee very swollen---and pain :yikes: ---we are assuming that this will need surgery as did his other knee----annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd----

He also torn the ligament in his bicep---now if this wasnt funny it surely IS funny----
His bicep muscle has shifted to the side of the arm----and the X-rays show that the ligaments have thinned---!!AGE!!!! and @ this age they dont operate---so as long as there is no pain----he will *wear* his muscle to the side of his arm--- --this was done when he was trying to fix a hallway light @ Lynn's house.

MAYBE this is telling us NOT to take this cruise~~~~~

AND, I told Mr. Helpful---U have to ease up being Mr. FixIt---I think your BODY is telling U---HALT!!!

I know he will ignore me---cus he just luves running around helping--

Hi Barbara,

Yep, it's hard to keep a good man down, isn't it.

You know, it seems kind of strange that "at his age", they don't operate on arms, but they do operate on legs.

Maybe it's not telling you not to take the cruise, but instead, it's telling you not to let him try to fix anything while he's on that ship.

I hope the knee doesn't get too bad. That sounds mighty painful.

Luve,

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Galahad it is painful---specially when it *buckles* under him---and for L. to get to a Doctor--PRONTO- U have to know he is in pain--

Gee, it almost appears that when he gets down on that knee he might be proposing to me---

And dont laugh----being he worked for OTIS Elevator CO. and whenever we get into a *car* he does the routine *overseeing* of the car!!!

Will report back when he gets home--

luve Barbara

PS. I thought it strange too--about not operating on the bi-cep

I had a torn meniscus almost two years ago and it was one of the most painful things I've ever had to endure. Arthroscopic surgery is wonderful. After having it, my knee is back to normal, albeit with arthritis.

I've never heard of a muscle slipping to the side - we learn something new every day on this site.

Barb, I am really sorry he is going throught these issues and that does sounds painful! I am with Gloria that you learn something new everyday because I had not heard before that your muscle can go to the side.
Hoping he is able to get things worked out quickly with his Doc. and be back on track on a healthy pathway!
