Anyone else here have cold hands/feet all the time?

Post by Kellyerin222 »

Am I normal-- ((Ok, wait, no I know I am weird, lol. ))

My hands and feet are physically cold all the time. It gives me an excuse to buy my fuzzy, soft socks that I love

I am not one to like the cold and usually am cuddled with a blanket, but was just wondering if anyone else here goes through this.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day~

Love,
Kel

Same here, hands and feet cold. Get downright freezing during the day sometimes. And it's not just a feeling as I measured the temp and it gets pretty darn low, about the temp of the room at times.

I guess I'm half weird, I only have trouble with one hand going cold, but that is because of nerve, tendon and ligament damage in my disabled arm.( Issues from a very ugly horse wreck, a repair surgery that did more harm than good and the reason I now have a service dog  ) But Rick gets chilled much more often since he has been sick with stomach issues. Interesting, I never made a connection with it before..

I am glad I am not the only one that expierences this. They always feel ice cold and my husband comments all the time about "Your hands are freezing". I always thought maybe it was poor circulation or something??

I guess I'm in the class of being 1/2 weird, since it's my feet that are always cold...
I like the warm soft footies, too!
I'm with ErinD as far as disliking the cold weather.
Next trip down to my sister's in Florida, we're going to start looking for a winter home. Felt so much better when we were down there in February..

You know, I never really payed much attention before, but my hands and feet were often cold during most of my life, and in fact, I was cold all over - when other kids would be running around in shirtsleeves, I'd be cold, even though I was wearing a jacket. I don't know if it's due to the GF diet, or the fact that I'm in remission, or just due to the fact that I've got a little fat under my hide now, but I'm just the opposite these days - I rarely wear a jacket when everyone else does, unless it's really cold, (near freezing or below). My feet still get a little cold if it's really bitter cold, but I no longer wear insulated boots in the winter, the way I used to - my feet get too hot, if I do. Strange.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Cold hands and feet for me, too. I could never go ice skating.

The thermometer says it's 72 degrees in the living room, but my nose is cold. My DH just turned on the portable heater for me.
I have an electric blanket plus a regular blanket and an afghan on my bed. I wear socks, knit slippers and leg warmers to bed, plus I have a portable heater in the bedroom. I blame it on low blood pressure. Can't believe it's connected to gluten. I've been this way all my life. :hyper: (shivering).
