I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, I am caught up on all my reading of all the posts....you guys have been busy!! I had a wonderful weekend....saw the younger kids do a demo at the local high school and then that night (Sat.) we drove into San Francisco to the Cow Palace in Daly City where the "Battlefest" was occuring. It was a half hour drive in the car in the morning and then an hour drive in the evening to SF with no rest stops and lots of traffic....but I made it!! with no accidents and we went to the city early to get seats and waited 2 hours for the battle to begin with tons of kids and their parents to watch the ip hop dancing. The music was deafening but the kids were so excited that D-daddy & I were there to watch them. Lots of nice kids and friends and excitement. Our kids' team didn't place 1st but they really danced their hearts out. We flew home on Sunday . I took tons of immodium and lomotil and it worked. But today I am back to reality as those drugs have worn off and I see I really do need them. sigh....I even began to hope that maybe the entocort had done its job and the c-diff wasn't going to be so bad. But today I am seeing the reality of no more steroid protection and c-diff not cleared out so together they pack a double whammy. So I cancelled a meeting for tonite and am staying home so I can be safe. Glad to be home....the weather was so nice and warm enough to only need a jacket, not sweater and coat so that was a nice break too. But us old guys are sure worn out!!!
So, thanks for all the well-wishes and thoughts and prayers. We are so glad we went.

Welcome back, Sunny,
I'm glad the trip went so well. It's obvious that you "did your homework", and it paid off. Actually, I'm not at all sure that any of the corticosteroids would be able to fend off the D from C. diff, anyway, but I could be wrong, obviously.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Welcome back Sunny.
Glad to hear you had such a great time on your trip, and not having to worry about accidents must have made it all the much nicer.
I hope the C. diff isn't treating you horribly right now. My thoughts are with you - my mother went through it last fall, my gosh it was awful.
take care.

Welcome back! Sounds like you had a busy but fun getaway!
