sounds good Sunny-----I would be Xtatic just to be able to *smell* the aroma of things!!!

It appears, starting about a year ago(I think) I began to lose my taste buds --also the ability to *smell* the aroma of stuff----
I,especially miss my :coffee2: perkin!!!!

So when I eat---nothing is really enjoyable---

I shall shut my *iiiiiiii's* and try to imagine the aroma---

luve Barbara

PS. and to add---Lou just cooked schrimp scampi--YUM----NOT!!!
Tasted nada---loaded with my fav. Garlic and a nice sauce---so U see I am not a happy eater---
the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control

Barbara-
Yes, enjoying food is all about taste and smell. I'm so sorry that you've lost both senses. I've heard that some of the nose sprays for colds can take them away.

Sunny-
I'm glad you're finding some success with baking. GF baking can be very frustrating at first. The pecan flour not only sounds delicious, but also nutritious.

Hi Sunny,

Great news! Are you going to post the recipe in the Recipe Forum? What did you use instead of sugar......fruit juice or honey? Did you grind up your own pecans?

I have made a good banana bread using almond flour.

Love,

Polly

Yes, I did grind my own pecans in my cuisiinart...in fact, everthing went in the food processor and zip zip and it was in the pan. I used powdered splenda.

Will post the recipe in the recipe section.
