Sally,

I'm pretty sure it's our AnnE of the Island who has registered! I know that she is extremely busy right now, so she may be waiting until she has a few free moments to post. Won't it be super to have her back in the family with us? You're correct - with a nickname like "Word Nutt" she was never at a loss for words!

Let me add a big WELCOME too.

:bear:  :toast: :band: :grouphug:

Love, :pulsinghearts:

Polly

P.S. Lovely photo, Sally.

Yes, My friends, It is I :)
AnnE
Thanks so much for inviting me...!!!
I am sitting here at work...the day is getting longer by the second...
I am really missing my beautiful Island now that the weather is so nice...haven't had a chance to enjoy it..sigh..and now as of Wednesday, school is OFFICIALLY out for summer...
Simon has gotten the 'golf bug' [true to his gene pool hahha] and so I am hoping that will keep him out of trouble for a lot of the summer.
He is also signed up to pick Strawberries at one of the local garden centres starting some time in the next couple of weeks.
Charlotte has been working like a dog at the Lobster plant, which she abhors lol, and is hoping something else will pan out soon, so she can quit hahah..it's long days, and hard, but great money for a student.
Can't believe this fall she'll be entering her graduation year!@$#%
yikes...as usual..I'm not ready

Wayne has also been a busy guy..not nearly as mainly frogs around..since he's having to take part in a lot more of the indoor chores than he usually did with me working two jobs ;)

Other than that..looking forward to seeing both my sisters at different points this summer.

How's it been going for everyone else??

And of course, don't let me forget to say THANKS to Wayne for starting us up 'afresh' here !
The site looks 'fab-u-lous Dahling'

Hey...it just occurred to me that I may be able stay on top of the topics at this site, since it just got started hahahha

As for CC, it is truly a pain in the BUTT :)
have not been all that good these days..and I do pay for it when I'm not..
but...considering I'm back to work full time...this is a big step for me, and so far...[fingers crossed..lol] no real threats of any accidents ahha

So, I guess I'm home again , huh?

Hi to everyone, I miss you all the time,
AnnE

AnnE, I still have that picture of Simon and Wayne walking on the beach at Point Something or other as part of my wallpaper on my monitor. In the sunset, remember? I always smile when I see it. It's part of Webshots.

Lot of love,

Sally

AnnE

Its Me Wendy. Living in Toronto now. Great to see you here too. Sorry that you are still struggling with you health. How are you managing two jobs? Thats amazing. And yes it must be beautiful on the Island right now. We have been having pretty hot weather here in Toronto. Yesterday I was all alone here and so they guys let me use the pool all by my lonesome. So I spent a quiet afternoon by the pool, with my little Pebbles. Only she stayed underneath the lounger under the shade with her water close by. But today, I found myself feeling pretty rotten, and spent most of the day indoors.

My niece is graduating this year and celebrating her prom tomorrow night. She however does not know what she wants to do so is going back to school maybe next year to take a few more courses. But she changes her mind back and forth. A bit of a spoiled kid, her dad is sending her on an all-inclusive vacation to the carribean with a few of her friends, now he just has to get her to go for a place that is not as expensive as the places she keeps choosing. And as for my girls, one, the younger one, Mel, is going back to College in the fall, and has a summer job working at a garden place, works twelve hours a day six to seven days a week. But she will have August off before she heads back to school. My oldest daughter is getting married next year, later on by fall. She is also carrying my first grandchild right now! So that is my big news, planning for a wedding and planning for a baby. Excited about both of them. I went with her to pick out her Wedding dress, and it is ordered, and they will plently of time to do any adjustments after she has the baby, as she is due for the end of Feb.
Me I am doing okay, I have my days, but am getting through them. I still have my little companion Pebbles by my side, and she is better then ever.

I do hope to see you here as much as you can, and welcome aboard.

Hi AnnE,

After reading your message, I can see why you can't keep up with lots of posts! You'd have to be doing well to have the strength to do all that.

Will also be looking forward to keeping up with you. I may have to miss days of posts as well, but right now, it's manageable.

Take care of yourself, and do try to sqeeze in some fun.

Yours, Luce

Hi Anne and thrilled to see you here. I have so missed your posts and stories of the family and Island. My friend divorced and moved back to the states so she is no longer there - I guess her EX is still. A whole other very long sad story.

Well I have to give you some emoticons too as a welcome back.

:bigbighug: :welcome: :circle: :bird1: :band:

Love you, Maggie

There is a site I just found called photobucket.com

sign up there and you can add your own photos or gifs as they will give you the source code automatically underneath the selected picture you choose! How about that? I wish I had known this sooner because Christine was asking me how I did it too. Tried to explain but I'm not a computer guru in the explanation department.

Anywho you guys, try it :

When you have a picture selected on photobucket, select the last prompt which will look like [img,,,,,,,,,,,img/]. <copy (command c) then come back here onto the board and on the posting site hit view (command v).

Hope it works for you. I may change mine to something else using that website soon!

The wording I did in my photoshop program and this is the newest version and there's so much to learn. I'm not as literate as my hubby and son! Darn anyways.

Hugs to you
