chasing trucks

Post by annie oakley »

Ok This is a story I have to share>>>>My Mimi-pin Buck is very territorial about his little yard. We keep them close because of the critters out here that could carry Buck and Jasmine away for lunch>>>anyway we take them on a walk everyday out to the deer feeders. yesterday evening buck heard and saw a truck on the dirt road that runs by our drive way, well buck takes off running in that direction :chatdog: of course I satrt to yell for him to stop, he kept going and Mike said don't panic. watch. I'm thinkg he's going out to the road to chase this truck. No way, he makes a left turn at the garlic plants and runs into his yard and proceeds to bark and snort at that pickup. I nearly fell over laughing. Then later that evening there was a small rabbit that was eating the carrots I put out and Buck was in his yard. I opened the gate to see what he would do. Well :shithead: took off after the rabbitt, it zig zaged and ran thru a pile of mesquite branches and out the other side, with Buck hot on his tail. The rabbit look as if he was going to run smack into the tree when it took a sudden left turn and left Buck putting on the brakes trying not to hit the tree. Buck stopped short of a concusion. hung his head and came back to the yard. He would not have hurt it, he wanted to play. Aren't our animals funny? Love Oma

That is great, I can't imagine a day on this earth without my 4 legged family members. They love and entertain us, and I wouldn't want to be in a world without them.

My service dog is a 100 lb Catahoua Leopard Dog, and will go from backing off cattle and horses, herding them from point A to point B, then rolling around on the ground on her back playing with the barn cat, then she pushes him around in the dirt with her nose. He seems to love it, but it looks to me like she is trying to use him as a dust mop.... Always makes me laugh....

Aww how wonderful, lovely story Oma  .

Oh just to keep you updated my parrot and bunny rabbit are not getting on too well, the other evening Holly the parrot attacked Pip out of jealousy! I was having a bath and my partner told me that pip jumped up on the chair next to him while Holly was on his lap and the attack took place, poor Pip just wanted to play. Our little animals friends are just too cute for words :goodnight:

Oh Dear. I do hope Pip wasn't injured. Birds can be very territorial and possessive. I hope they can work it out.

LOL no poor Pip is ok took the whole attack in her stride like the totally chilled out bunny she is, it is kinda funny the way Pip looks at Holly as if to say ............you are so immature.

Thanks Shirley for asking after Pip, I am gathering lots of photos and hopefully will manage to find the time soon to upload them.
